1. Rajya Sainik Board (RSB) Chhattisgarh, which is also known as Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Chhattisgarh is located at Sainik Kalyan Parisar, situated at Motibagh Road, Shashtri Chowk, Raipur. This is an independent Complex which include RSB Office, Distt Sainik Welfare Office, Raipur and Sainik Rest House, Raipur.

There are Ten District Sainik Welfare Offices functioning under Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Chhattisgarh, This Directorate look after the welfare of approximately 50,000 Ex- servicemen of armed forces including their families / dependents. We have 33 brave hearts (Shaheed), 18 Gallantry Awards Winner ESM / Shaheed and 31 World war II Widows Dependents and serving soldiers and their families in Chhattisgarh..
3. Various Welfare schemes/activities are conducted for all ESM / Families/ dependents located in various District of the State by the Distt Sainik Welfare Office headed by a Colonel/ Lt Col/equivalent who is designated as Distt Sainik Welfare Office (DSWO). DSWO functions in conjunction with the Distt Collector and the Distt Administration and assists in resolving various problem of ESMs / families/ dependents in the Distt.
