CISF Para Medical Staff Recruitment 2026 – Online Applications Open for 24 ASI Posts: Check Complete Educational Qualifications & Ex-Servicemen Seats
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the recruitment of Para Medical Staff in CISF-2026 through an official notification in the Employment News (6 - 12 June 2026). Online applications are invited on an All-India basis from eligible Male and Female candidates for multiple Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) medical cadre posts.
A mandatory 10% reservation is assigned horizontally for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) across these positions. All details regarding vacancies, post-wise eligibility criteria, pay scales, and timelines are fully detailed below.

Key Note for Veterans: There are 02 specific vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen under the ASI (Pharmacist) post.

2. Minimum Educational Qualifications​

As per section 5.2 of the official notification continued from page 36 of the layout, candidates must possess the following specific qualification for their preferred post:

A. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (Pharmacist)​

• Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
• Must possess a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
• Must be formally registered as a "PHARMACIST" under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

B. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (X-Ray Technician)​

• Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
• Must possess a 02 years Diploma in Radiography from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.

C. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (Lab Technician)​

• Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University with Science.
• Must possess a 02 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an institution recognized by any Central or State Government.

Important Note on Certificate Equivalence: Educational certificates issued by bodies other than a standard State Board/Central Board must be accompanied by an official Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class or 10+2 pass standard for service under the Central Government.

3. Pay Scale & Benefits​

• Pay Matrix Level: Level-5 (as per 7th CPC).
• Salary Range: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300/- plus standard allowances admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.
• Pension Scheme: Covered under the "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" also known as the National Pension System (NPS).

4. Age Limit & Relaxation​

• Age Bracket: Between 18 to 28 years.
• Crucial Cut-off Date: 07/07/2026 (Closing date of receipt of online applications).
• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per standard Government of India orders.

5. Mode of Selection​

The recruitment will follow a systematic selection process structured into sequential phases:

1. Written Examination (CBT / OMR Mode) - conducted bilingually in Hindi & English.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST).
3. Documentation Verification.
4. Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (BVAT).
5. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).
