2. Minimum Educational Qualifications
As per section 5.2 of the official notification continued from page 36 of the layout, candidates must possess the following specific qualification for their preferred post:A. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (Pharmacist)
- Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
- Must possess a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
- Must be formally registered as a "PHARMACIST" under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
B. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (X-Ray Technician)
- Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
- Must possess a 02 years Diploma in Radiography from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
C. Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (Lab Technician)
- Must have successfully passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or University with Science.
- Must possess a 02 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an institution recognized by any Central or State Government.
Important Note on Certificate Equivalence: Educational certificates issued by bodies other than a standard State Board/Central Board must be accompanied by an official Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class or 10+2 pass standard for service under the Central Government.
3. Pay Scale & Benefits
- Pay Matrix Level: Level-5 (as per 7th CPC).
- Salary Range: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300/- plus standard allowances admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.
- Pension Scheme: Covered under the "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" also known as the National Pension System (NPS).
4. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Age Bracket: Between 18 to 28 years.
- Crucial Cut-off Date: 07/07/2026 (Closing date of receipt of online applications).
- Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per standard Government of India orders.
5. Mode of Selection
The recruitment will follow a systematic selection process structured into sequential phases:- Written Examination (CBT / OMR Mode) - conducted bilingually in Hindi & English.
- Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Documentation Verification.
- Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (BVAT).
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).
