Facilities to Ex-Servicemen by the govt of Madhya Pradesh
1. Financial Assistance Rs 8,000/- pm to World War II non pension veterans and their widows.
2. Financial Assistance Rs 10,000/- pa to parents whose daughter employed in Indian Armed Forces.
3. Cash grant to medal awardees for the act of gallantry and distinguished service.
4. Financial assistance Rs 5,000/- pm to parents of martyrs of Armd Forces.
5. 2% reservation in allotment of house sites/plots, developed by housing boards.
6. Rent Control Act and Land Tenancy Act favourable to Ex- Servicemen/dependents.
7. 50 percent House Tax exemption provided, if ESM is not paying Income Tax.
8. Free medical aid in Govt Hospitals.
9. Relaxation in Physical Standard Test for recruitment of ESM in State Police Force.
10. 10% reservation in Group 'C' posts and 20% in Group 'D' posts.
11. Exemption from payment of PSC fees including SSCOs/ECOs.
12. Priority on allotment of Industrial Plots/sheds and Fair Price Shops to Ex-Servicemen.
13. Reservation of 3% seats in MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BNYS/ BSc Nursing courses.
14. Reservation of 2% seats in Agricultural colleges, M.Ed. and B.Ed. courses.
15. Reservation of 5% seats in BE/ B Tech, Polytechnic and ITI Institutes.
16. Reservation of 14 Seats in Home Science Colleges.
17. Gun license within 3 months and fee concession.
18. Grievances redressal mechanism in Districts, Home Deptt and CM helpline.
19. 12 ECHS policlinics for medical treatment and 16 Sainik Rest houses.
Facilities to NOK (Next of Kin) of War Casualty
1. Ex-gratia grant Rs 1,00,00,000/- to NOK of Officers, JCOs and ORs killed in War/ Action/Terrorist attack/Naxalite attack/IS Duty.
2. Financial Assistance upto Rs 10,00,000/- according to disability percentage approved by District Medical Board to disabled defence personnel during War/Action/Terrorist attack/Naxalite attack/IS Duty.
3. Special employment to one family member of defence personnel killed in War/ Action/Terrorist attack/Naxalite attack/IS Duty in class- II, III & IV post as per qualification.
4. Marriage grant Rs 10,000/ to Daughter/sister of personnel killed/ disabled in War/ Action/Terrorist attack/Naxalite attack/IS Duty.
