Three frontline naval combatants - Guided Missile Destroyer 'INS Surat', Stealth Frigate 'INS Nilgiri' and submarine 'INS Vaghsheer' - have been commissioned in the Indian Navy in the august presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. The event marked a significant leap forward in realising India’s vision of becoming a global leader in defence manufacturing and maritime security.
